Company Background
Sem Mah Waste Disposal Sdn Bhd (SMWD) was established on the 1st of July 1980. Formerly known as Sem Mah Enterprise Sdn Bhd, it started operations by providing transportation services only.
SMWD commenced its waste disposal services in Senawang in 1994, where it was the pioneer privatization transporter in Negeri Sembilan whom using the technology of "roll-on, roll-off" garbage trucks.
On 1st October 2004, Sem Mah Waste Disposal Sdn Bhd was awarded the MS ISO 14001:1997 certificate for Environmental Management System by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd.
On 16th March 2006, Sem Mah Waste Disposal was further upgraded to the MS ISO 14001:2004 certificate for Environmental Management System by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd.
Sem Mah Waste Disposal Sdn Bhd successfully secured the license from Majlis Perbandaran Nilai for collecting scrap material on 6th August 2004.
On 15th December 2004, SMWD were awarded the license for scrap metal by Ketua Polis Malaysia. By 9th February 2006, SEM MAH Waste Disposal had secured the license of "Tambah Syarat Lesen Perniagaan Barang-barang Second Hand" by Ketua Polis Malaysia.
On 27th October 2005, SMWD developed one unit of its own weighing bridge with testing done and license approved by Metrology Corporation Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
